Gabriela Leão is an actress trained in Acting at ESMAE – School of Music and Performing Arts. Throughout her artistic career, she has been involved in several contemporary theatre productions, working with directors such as Pedro Lamares, Diogo Freitas, Jorge Pinto, Manuel Tur and Eric Minh Cuong. Her theatre credits include Fronteira, Democracy Has Been Detected, Como Perder um País, Jacques ou a Submissão, Cru, Mulheres Tráfico and Tarab, presented at the DDD Festival. In film and television, she has appeared in the short films Ultra, produced by Lightbox, Um Domingo, produced by Filmes da Mente. She also performs circus animation on stilts. She is a native Portuguese speaker and has an advanced level of English and Spanish.
