Mariana de Sousa Magalhães

Actress, director, and creator. She holds a Master’s degree in Performing Arts from the School of Music and Performing Arts (ESMAE) and divides her time between acting, contemporary creation, and artistic direction. Throughout her career, she has worked with directors such as Pedro Penim, Gonçalo Amorim, Jorge Andrade, Eduardo Molina, and Hugo Tourita, appearing in productions such as *The Name of the Rose*, *The Seagull*, *Língua*, *Universal Declaration of Human Rights*, *Righteous Among the Nations*, *Dangerous Liaisons*, and *Filodemo*. In 2018, she founded the collective RETORNO, through which she develops original creative projects. In 2023, she was selected to join the École des Maîtres, under the direction of Marcial di Fonzo Bo.
