Jean Philippe Adabra

Jean-Philippe Adabra grew up in Berlin-Neukölln. His artistic work is closely linked to the
Ballhaus Naunynstraße theater. Other engagements took him to the
Komödie am Kurfürstendamm, where he performed for several years in the production “Christmas on
the Balcony,” directed by Jürgen Wölffer.
He also appeared at the Landesbühne Rheinland-Pfalz Neuwied in a production of
“Othello,” alongside Martin Semmelrogge.
In 2024, he played the lead role at the TD Berlin in “Blutsbrüder Revisited,” directed by Atif Mohammed
Nour Hussein. During the 2024/25 season, he also appeared in “Der lange Schlaf”
at the Nationale Bühne Nord.
Adabra also appears in film, streaming, and television. In “Égalité” by director Kida
Ramadan, he competed in the Hof Film Festival, and “Berlin Kills Me” by Neco Çelik
was screened as a competition film at the Antalya Film Festival.
In the highly acclaimed series “Angemessen Angry” by Elsa van Damke, he showcased
another facet.
