Jean Philippe Adabra

Jean-Philippe Adabra grew up in Berlin-Neukölln. His artistic work is closely tied to the Theater "Ballhaus Naunynstraße". Other engagements took him to the Komödie am Kurfürstendamm, where he appeared in a classical production of Othello, as well as to TD Berlin, where he starred in the 2024 production “Blutsbrüder Revisited,” directed by Atif Mohammed Nour Hussein. During the 2024/25 season, he played at the national stage north in “Der lange Schlaf.”
Adabra is also performing in film, streaming and television. In “Égalité” by director Kida Ramadan, he appeared in the competition section of the Hof Film Festival, and “Berlin kills me” by Neco Çelik screened as a competition film at the Antalya Film Festival. In the highly acclaimed series “Angemessen Angry” by Elsa Van Damke, he showcased another side of his talent. This was followed by roles in “Jenseits der Spree,” directed by Jürgen Vogel, as well as in “Soko Potsdam.”
In 2025, he worked on the production *Staatsschutz* by the Berlin-based company Jünglingefilm and took on a role in the series *Vernau*, directed by Josef Rusnak.
