Carlijn (1976) is a Dutch/French actress who grew up in the US, Belgium and Switzerland. She plays the recurring role of French teacher Madame Callens in the hit TV series Brugklas and has appeared in numerous short films, features and international commercials. Her debut short Teeth (2024) was nominated for Best Short at IFFR The Hague. Passionate about telling layered, authentic stories, she aims to give midlife women a stronger voice on screen.
